Heart and Soul

All those nights,
When I wanted nothing but to yell.
All those thoughts,
Which I couldn’t keep to myself.
I poured them down,
Because I couldn’t control.
I poured them down,
A piece of my heart and soul.

‘Heart and Soul’ is a collection of poems that revolves around two of the most intense emotions of mankind- love and heartbreak. Through her poetry, the author tries to create a perfect illusion of the character falling in love and then eventually undergoing a heartbreak.
